Job Description
A client of Insight Global within the financial services space is looking for a person to join their Messaging team! They will be responsible for the support of developing their application Kafka. This role will be responsible for creating event-driven architectures using Apache Kafka to integrate systems, support analytics, and ensure compliance with industry regulations. Developers work closely with engineering and business teams to deliver scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines that power critical applications like fraud detection, payments, and risk management. Strong skills in Java, distributed systems, and Kafka tooling are essential to ensure reliable and efficient data flow across the enterprise.

Skills and Requirements
4-8 years of experience developing applications (Kafka preferred) or developing Java
Experience building applications using Frameworks like Spring Boot and Rest APIs
Background or experience within Wealth Management Series Certification (Series 7, Series 9, etc)
AI Experience (Machine Learning, Automation)
Experience with Azure (AWS)
Experience with Snowflake/Oracle
