Job Description:Job title: Oracle/Plsql DeveloperDuration: 12 Months (Hybrid)Location: Jersey City NJPayrate: $70.00 - 73.68/hrRole and responsibilitiesBe part of Agile team and actively participate and contribute to all standard Agile ceremonies.Build Oracle Plsql Packages and act as subject matter expert through the entire systems development lifecycle.Design Tables, functions and Feed Set ups to meet business requirements and document application set-upsIdentify business requirements and map them to the application functionality and guide technical team for technical design specifications and solution for Data Conversions / Extracts, application extensions, Reports and Interfaces with other applications.Work with Product owners to gather requirements and facilitate gap identification and design solution.Work with various testing teams to plan application testing and support testingAdvise clients on options, risks, and any impact on other processes or systemsCandidate will be responsible for supporting Major enterprise initiatives to develop new or custom modules. Project will have complex enhancements in Oracle Plsql procedures and Validations.Strong knowledge of Oracle Plsql. Candidate will be responsible to developing enhancements in a Oracle 23c version.Required SkillsPrimary Skillset - Oracle Plsql, Unix ScriptingMinimum 15+ years’ experience in Oracle Plsql and application development.Extensive experience in debugging, performance tuning, Runtime Analysis and System monitoring.Good experience in Application development, Unix scripting and Autosys scheduler.Strong written and oral communication skills and an open communication style. Must have the ability to interact with business users to get requirements, present design decisions and get approval, provide input on testing various business scenarios.Define testing scenarios and develop test scriptsDevelop end-user documentation and training materialsExperience in Oracle Financial R12, Oracle Financial Cloud integration is desired.Identify functionality gaps, perform POCs and develop solutions / workaroundsExperience in Agile environment and methodologiesEEO EmployerApex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
