  • Establish and evolve target‑state architectures, reference designs, and reusable patterns that enable secure, compliant, and scalable technology delivery.

  • Support the rollout of shared platform and security capabilities through automation, infrastructure‑as‑code, and reliability‑focused design principles aligned with SRE practices.

  • Collaborate with business, risk, and compliance partners to translate regulatory and control requirements into practical, consumable architectural solutions.

  • Act as a strategic architecture partner to EIS and Cloud Engineering , jointly shaping platform roadmaps, onboarding strategies, and security capabilities that balance enterprise standards with delivery realities.

  • Guide cloud and platform onboarding strategies, including secure landing zone architectures, shared services, inherited controls, and integration patterns.

  • Drive integrations and tooling that improve security posture and operational resilience across both cloud and legacy environments.

  • Influence the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including AI‑enabled capabilities and intelligent automation, within established governance and risk frameworks.

  • Promote modern engineering and operational practices that improve platform resilience, developer experience, and long‑term maintainability.

  • Clearly and concisely communicate complex architectural, technical, and risk tradeoffs to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with and mentor architects and senior engineers, fostering strong architectural thinking, shared ownership, and cross‑team alignment.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology architecture, infrastructure engineering, or security engineering, including enterprise‑scale or platform‑oriented solutions.

  • Strong experience designing and governing solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or hybrid enterprise environments.

  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity architecture, risk management, and control‑based design within regulated financial institutions.

  • Experience working in close partnership with infrastructure, cloud, and platform engineering organizations in a matrixed enterprise environment.

  • Familiarity with modern automation, CI/CD enablement, and infrastructure‑as‑code practices.

  • Working knowledge of modern AI and intelligent automation platforms and their architectural implications.

  • Comfortable operating within Agile and hybrid delivery models across complex organizations.

  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate complex technical, architectural, and organizational challenges and propose pragmatic, iterative solutions.

  • Proven ability to balance security rigor, regulatory expectations, and business delivery needs.

  • Collaborative, solution‑oriented mindset with a focus on enablement, reuse, and long‑term sustainability.
