Job Description
Fulcrum Consulting, an LRS company, is seeking a Junior Project Manager with our client in Jersey City, NJ.
Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Manager, to support business initiatives within a fast-paced, high-expectation financial services environment. The ideal candidate brings experience managing deliverables, timelines, and executive-level reporting, and thrives under pressure with tight deadlines and quick turnarounds. This is a non-IT focused role requiring strong coordination, communication, and execution skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and track project deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality completion
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and schedules
Prepare and deliver executive-level reporting, dashboards, and metrics
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution
Monitor progress and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies
Support multiple initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ensure quick turnaround on requests and project updates
Maintain accurate and organized project documentation
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including senior leadership
Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in project management or coordination, preferably in financial services
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience managing timelines, deliverables, and reporting
Ability to produce executive-ready materials
Comfortable working under pressure with tight deadlines
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and project tracking tools
Work Environment:
4 days onsite in a fast-paced, high-performance setting
1 day remote flexibility
The base hourly range for this contract position is $65-$95 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
