Genesis10 is currently seeking a Strategic Execution & Governance Manager - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role supports the Enterprise Architecture Governance & Controls team, focusing on the execution of strategic and governance deliverables. The ideal candidate is a hands-on execution lead with experience supporting technology lines of business through structured governance and formal issue management, including the remediation of audit, risk, and regulatory issues. This position requires 3 days onsite per week.Responsibilities:- Provide robust support, oversight, and execution of strategic and governance deliverables- Own outputs end-to-end, connect many moving parts, drive issue remediation to closure, and move work forward despite ambiguity- Manage recurring strategic, governance, or issue management forums, including agenda design, material development, and meeting facilitation- Oversee formal issue remediation processes for audit, risk, regulatory, and self-identified issues- Track remediation plans, milestones, and due dates, proactively escalating blockers or risks of delay- Drive issues to closure or formal re-assessment where required- Produce executive-level decks and reporting for leadership to monitor issue health and make risk-based decisions- Develop and write procedures, playbooks, or operating guides related to governance and issue managementRequirements:- Deep experience supporting technology lines of business through structured strategic forums, governance routines, and formal issue management- Proven experience directly managing formal issue remediation processes (audit, risk, regulatory, etc.)- Experience supporting technology, engineering, or architecture organizations, ideally in complex or regulated environments- Strong ability to mine, validate, and reconcile data across governance, audit, and risk sources- Ability to turn raw data into clear issue statements, health assessments, themes, and concise executive talking points- Advanced PowerPoint skills (structure, logic, executive storytelling) and strong written communication suitable for executive audiences- Advanced Excel skills for data reconciliation, issue tracking, and analysis- Comfortable using Copilot and AI tools to automate recurring reporting and improve deliverables- Calm, confident, and credible with senior leadership- Detail-oriented with strong respect for timelines, commitments, and accuracy- Must be an organized, disciplined, and reliable self-starter able to define structure and move work forward independentlyPay rate: $52.10 - $60.10 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!Ranked a Top Staffing Firm in the U.S. by Staffing Industry Analysts for six consecutive years, Genesis10 puts thousands of consultants and employees to work across the United States every year in contract, contract-for-hire, and permanent placement roles.
