HVAC Technician

Job Description

As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment. This role involves troubleshooting and resolving system issues, documenting findings and corrective actions, and maintaining accurate service records, logs, and inventory of parts and tools.

M-F Days

$28-$34/hr

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and related equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues; document findings and corrective actions.

  • Monitor and operate building management systems (BMS).

  • Maintain accurate service records, logs, and inventory of parts and tools.

  • Assist with major repairs and collaborate with other maintenance staff.

  • Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE.

  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.

  • Attend training sessions and complete required documentation on time.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in HVAC, troubleshooting, and repair.

  • Proficiency in service and preventive maintenance of chillers, boilers, and both commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

  • Ability to perform tests and analyze data.

  • At least two years of recent/relevant HVAC experience in a facility and/or utility maintenance environment.

  • Certified HVAC technical training or state-approved HVAC license.

  • EPA Universal Refrigeration Certification.

  • Valid driver’s license.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00/hr.
