Job Description
The Production Operator is responsible for safely operating and maintaining production machinery to meet quality, efficiency, and safety goals. This role requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to maintaining high manufacturing standards.
Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain production machinery safely and efficiently.
Follow standardized work instructions, procedures, and safety regulations.
Inspect equipment and perform routine Total Quality Maintenance (TQM) checks.
Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards.
Identify and report mechanical, safety, or production issues promptly.
Track hourly production results and communicate equipment status to supervisors.
Essential Skills
Experience in production, inspection, and machine operation.
Knowledge of quality assurance, assembly, and general production processes.
Proficiency with tools such as calipers, micrometers, CNC machines, and hand tools.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
Ability to follow standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Clear communication and teamwork skills.
High school diploma or GED required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs regularly and chest-high when required.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40456.00 - $44000.00/yr.

Safely run and oversee manufacturing equipment to meet daily output goals Perform work in accordance with documented processes, operational guidelines, and safety standards Complete routine equipment checks and preventative maintenance activities to support reliability and uptime Verify product quality by measuring components with precision tools and confirming they meet specifications Recognize equipment, quality, or safety concerns and escalate issues as needed Document production activity and share operational updates with leadership throughout the shift
