Orion Wholesale CNC Programmer / Machinist (Haas VF-2) in Jeffersonville, Indiana
Responsibilities
- Program, set up, and operate our Haas VF-2 Vertical Machining Center
- Create and modify toolpaths using Fusion 360 CAM
- Complete programming and setup from a technical drawing or Fusion 360 model
- Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and work holding methods
- Machine precision components with a high level of accuracy and consistency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize machining processes
- Maintain a clean and organized machining environment
- Train and mentor new staff on the safe and efficient operation of CNC milling machines
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of CNC machining experience
- Minimum 1 year of Fusion 360 CAM experience
- Experience operating Haas CNC milling machines (VF-series preferred)
- Ability to program, set up, and run parts independently
- Ability to read technical drawings and CAD models
- Strong understanding of machining fundamentals, tooling, speeds, and feeds
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
