Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Jeffersontown, Kentucky. This Contract to permanent position offers the opportunity to contribute to key financial processes, including accounts payable and receivable. Responsibilities:
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions promptly and accurately.
• Ensure all data entry tasks are completed with precision to maintain up-to-date financial records.
• Utilize QuickBooks to organize and manage accounting information efficiently.
• Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by gathering and analyzing account information.
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries as needed.
• Communicate with vendors and clients to resolve billing and payment issues.
• Support the accounting team with additional administrative tasks as required.
Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial software.
• Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
• Familiarity with invoice processing and related procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors, clients, and team members.
• Ability to analyze and resolve financial discrepancies.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting is a plus.
