Responsibilities: - Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Warmly greet guests upon arrival and promptly complete the check-in process, ensuring all guest preferences and special requests are accommodated. Efficiently manage check-outs with accuracy and attention to detail. - Reservations Management: Handle guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations with precision and efficiency. Provide information on room rates, specials, and amenities to potential guests. - Customer Service Excellence: Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues, and anticipating needs to enhance their overall experience. Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor at all times. - Communication: Effectively communicate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest needs and requests promptly. - Cash Handling and Billing: Accurately process guest payments and maintain a balanced cash drawer. Prepare and review billing statements and folios for guest accounts. - Security and Safety: Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property by following established protocols, reporting any suspicious activity or potential hazards. - Concierge Services: Provide guests with information about local attractions, dining, and activities. Assist in arranging transportation and making reservations as requested. - Technology Use: Operate the property management system and other hotel software systems efficiently. Utilize email, phone systems, and other digital tools for communication and task management. - Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to create a positive work environment and ensure smooth daily operations. - Problem Solving: Proactively address guest issues and concerns, providing swift resolutions to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications: - Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Additional hospitality or customer service training is a plus. - Experience: Previous experience in a hotel, motel, or resort front desk role preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided. - Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in basic math and computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. - Attributes: Friendly, outgoing personality with a customer-focused attitude. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. - Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
