Job Description:
ESA Steel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Torchmate CNC Plasma Table Operator to join our Steel Fabrication Team. The ideal candidate must have 1 year of viable experience and will be responsible for programming and operating the CNC Plasma Table, to Fabricate steel plates according to specified dimensions and requirements. This role requires proficiency in CAD design to translate designs into cutting paths for the Plasma Table, as well as routine maintenance of the equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate the Torchmate CNC Plasma Table to Fabricate steel plates.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate cutting paths.
- Utilize CAD software to design and translate cutting paths for the Plasma Table.
- Set up and calibrate machinery for optimal performance.
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC Plasma Table equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator, specifically with CNC Plasma Tables.
- Ability to program CNC machinery.
- Proficient in CAD design and translating designs into cutting paths.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot machinery issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
