Job Highlights:

  • Monday–Friday schedule from 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

  • Occasional weekend availability to support volunteer onboarding or special activities

  • Hybrid position , offering flexibility alongside regular commuting to the Janesville office for in‑person collaboration and connection

Job Summary:

Coordinates the activities of volunteer services.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conducts recruitment, selection and training of volunteers.

  • Coordinates the schedules and daily activities of volunteers.

  • Liaison between leadership and volunteer resources to match needs of department with skills of volunteers.

  • May also organize volunteer recognition program(s) and assist with fundraising efforts.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION

  • High School diploma/GED or 10 years of work experience

EXPERIENCE

  • Two years' experience

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Proof of motor vehicle liability insurance that meets minimum state requirements upon hire and upon request.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.

  • Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.

  • Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.

  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.

  • Frequent keyboard use/data entry.

  • Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.

  • Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.

  • Rare climbing.
