About your new role: The Production Manager leads daily manufacturing operations to ensure safe working conditions, high product quality, on-time delivery, and efficient production. This role oversees production teams, coordinates with cross-functional departments, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet operational goals. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities for assigned manufacturing areas. Lead production teams and provide direction to lead employees and machine technicians. Support hiring, training, development, and performance management of manufacturing staff. Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining efficiency, quality, and cost targets. Monitor and improve key manufacturing metrics including production output, scrap, machine performance, and labor utilization. Partner with Engineering, Quality, Sales, and other departments to implement new tooling, processes, and production improvements. Investigate and resolve customer quality concerns in coordination with Quality Assurance. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a strong safety culture. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall manufacturing performance. Oversee pilot runs and process setup for new tooling and production programs. Troubleshoot complex equipment and process issues when necessary. Provide regular reports on production performance and operational initiatives. What you need: Bachelor\'s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience required; engineering degree or technical background preferred. Minimum seven years manufacturing supervision experience Strong leadership skills Excellent communication skills Strong mechanical background Ability to work as part of a team Strong knowledge of SPC tools and CPK process control requirement What you\'ll receive: As a full-time Prent employee you\'ll be competitively compensated, based on experience.
