Actalent Cnc Programmer in Janesville, Wisconsin

Job Title: CNC ProgrammerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer with the capability to program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines. This role requires proficiency in Mastercam software for programming CNC mills, lathes, and multi-task equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G & M codes, Mazatrol programming, blueprint reading, and GD&T, with essential experience in the Integrex i Series.

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines.

  • Utilize Mastercam software for programming of CNC mills, lathes, and multi-task equipment.

  • Understand and apply G & M codes and Mazatrol programming.

  • Read blueprints and apply GD&T principles.

  • Determine machining sequence and methodology.

  • Identify and procure appropriate cutting tools for CNC machining functions.

  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test/prove-out programming, and make adjustments.

  • Establish inspections and monitor key dimensions using CNC controls and standard measuring equipment and gaging.

  • Perform Machinist/Toolmaker duties and responsibilities.

Essential Skills

  • 5+ years of CNC programming experience.

  • Programming experience with Mazak brand and Mazatrol controls.

  • Proficiency in MasterCAM.

  • Hands-on machining and setup experience.

  • Experience with programming specifically for the Integrex i100 series.

  • 5-axis programming experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in a related field is preferred, though not required if the necessary qualifications are met.

Work Environment

Our work environment is characterized by low volume/high mix machining, which is highly customized due to the nature of the projects. We produce all tooling and automated equipment in-house. Programming tasks typically take about three hours daily. The team comprises one other CNC Programmer and six machinists. Equipment includes advanced CNC machinery like the Integrex i100s (5-axis CNC), Hyundai Kia SKT15 (CNC lathes), Haas VF 3SSYT (CNC Mill), and more. This is a Permanent position based out of Janesville, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $93600.00/yr.

Eligible for Full Time Benefits through end client.
