Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the operation and reliability of our manufacturing equipment and also perform general building maintenance. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring minimal downtime in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment including motors, gearboxes, and production machinery * Diagnose and repair mechanical issues involving bearings, belts, chains, shafts, and related components * Troubleshoot electrical systems including motors, relays, sensors, and control circuits (120V480V) * Assist with troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment and automated systems * Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failure * Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime * Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems * Perform basic welding and fabrication as needed for equipment repair * Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, in compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration standards * Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance and reliability * General building maintenance as required Qualifications * 2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance * Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills * Basic knowledge of PLC systems and automated equipment * Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics * Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams * Welding or fabrication experience preferred Education & Certifications * High school diploma or GED required * Technical or trade school training in industrial maintenance, or related field preferred Work Environment * Manufacturing/industrial setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods * May require overtime depending on production needs
