ND job order 924798 Temporary seasonal position from 4/1/2026 to 12/1/2026 Workers must have a minimum of three months of verifiable experience operating and maintaining large agricultural machinery used in row crop production, specifically for corn and soybeans. Duties include preparing fields by discing, cultivating, and leveling soil; loading seed and fertilizer; and operating planting equipment with attention to calibration and efficiency. Workers will assist with crop treatment, including the safe handling and application of fertilizers and pesticides using appropriate implements. Throughout the growing season, tasks include cultivation, crop monitoring, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operation. During harvest, workers will operate combines, grain carts, and haul crops from fields to storage locations. After harvest, responsibilities include post-harvest fieldwork such as field cleanup, minor machinery repairs, and preparing fields for winter. Workers must operate tractors, planters, sprayers, and other farm machinery with precision and care. The job requires adherence to all safety standards, regular equipment inspections, and prompt reporting of issues. Work is performed outdoors and is physically demanding, often under time constraints set by weather and crop conditions. All duties are directly tied to the seasonal agricultural cycle and are necessary for the successful completion of field operations. Employees will be provided with adequate breaks, including meal and rest periods, consistent with applicable Federal, State, and local law, during the course of each workday. Minimum of 3 months experience is required. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Operator License Class D Candidate will have 60 days to obtain. Skill Level II Experienced LevelPursuant to the Interim Final Rule (IFR) implementing the new four-level wage system for H-2A occupations, the employer designates this position as Skill Level II Experienced Level, indicating that the job requires prior related experience, independent judgment in performing recurring tasks, and the ability to work with limited supervision. Workers receiving free housing may be paid a lower hourly wage that includes a housing credit, as permitted by the Department of Labor. No additional deductions for housing can be made.
