The National Sea Logistics Reefer Manager is responsible for driving the growth, profitability, and operational excellence of the refrigerated (reefer) logistics segment across Indonesia. This role will lead commercial development, customer solutions, and operational execution for temperature-controlled shipments, ensuring high service quality and compliance with industry standards.
How you create impact
Drive national reefer business growth across key verticals
Identify and develop new business opportunities, focusing on strategic and high-value customers
Partner with Sales and Key Account teams to win reefer-related opportunities and tenders
Develop customized reefer logistics solutions aligned with customer requirements
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Act as the subject matter expert for reefer logistics within the country
Develop and standardize reefer service offerings, including value-added services
Collaborate with global/regional teams to align with product standards and innovations
Support RFQs, tenders, and pricing strategies related to reefer shipments
Ensure smooth end-to-end execution of reefer shipments
Monitor temperature compliance, cargo integrity, and handling standards
Work closely with operations, customer care, and vendors
Resolve escalations related to reefer shipments and ensure customer satisfaction
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery
Build strong relationships with key customers in reefer-dependent industries
Act as escalation point for critical customers and sensitive shipments
Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Customer Care, and Procurement teams
Engage with carriers and partners to secure capacity and competitive rates
Ensure adherence to local and international regulations
Maintain high standards of documentation and shipment visibility
Identify and mitigate risks related to temperature-sensitive cargo
Track and report KPIs
Analyze performance data to drive strategic decisions
Provide regular updates to senior management on reefer business performance
What we would like you to bring
Experience
Minimum 5–8 years of experience in freight forwarding / sea logistics
Strong exposure to reefer (temperature-controlled) shipments is a must
Proven track record in business development, product management, or operations
Experience handling import/export ocean freight processes
Skills & Competencies
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of reefer logistics, cold chain, and container management
Ability to manage cross-functional stakeholders
Problem-solving mindset with strong operational understanding
Analytical and data-driven decision-making skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
Language
Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia (written and spoken)
