Summary/Responsibilities:
Responsibilities: Provide ongoing assessment of the nutritional needs of the campus community and ensure their health and nutritional wellbeing. Assist in establishing nutrition-related health priorities, determine a base line to monitor campus change pertaining to eating behaviors, identify emerging nutrition-related issues, identify and strengthen existing resources, and develop and implement plans of action. This would include, but would not be limited to, the development and implementation of a campus assessment of environment/resources, culture/preferences, and trends of food behaviors and body image. Serve as liaison between UNFs Department of Recreation and Wellness,UNFStudent Health Services,UNFCounseling Center andUNFDining Services giving focus to students needs of highest priority. In addition to facilitating the development of peer outreach and educational programing. Screen, assess, and provide nutrition counseling and appropriate referral to students regarding specific health/nutritional needs, such as Student Health Services,UNFCounseling Center, or Lend A Wing Food Pantry. Support healthy lifestyle choices and health maintenance throughout the campus community by working collaboratively with the Brooks College of Health, Department of Recreation and Wellness, Ogier Garden, Housing Services, Student Organizations and Clubs (i.e. Student Nutrition Club),UNF[]{style="background: transparent; margin: 0px; pad
