Syndications Servicing Leader

The Syndications Servicing Leader is a senior leader responsible for overseeing all operational servicing activities for agented, bilateral, and participation loans across the commercial lending platform. This includes ownership of loan booking, system configuration, lifecycle servicing execution, data integrity, internal cash flow processing, rate and fee administration, allocation mechanics, and servicing governance across complex multi lender structures. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in syndicated credit operations, exceptional operational leadership, and the ability to build scalable processes and strong controls. This role partners closely with Credit Administration, Relationship Management, Treasury & Funding, Finance, Compliance, Technology, and other enterprise stakeholders to ensure high quality servicing execution and operational alignment across the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Syndications Leadership & Strategy: Lead the Syndications Servicing function, establishing servicing standards, internal workflows, team structure, and performance expectations across agented, bilateral, and participation loans. Maintain servicing capabilities aligned with the complexity and risk profile of multi lender commercial credit facilities. Drive operational consistency, strong controls, and scalable servicing processes across all syndicated structures.

  • Loan Booking & System Configuration: Oversee accurate and timely system boarding of all syndicated, bilateral, and participation loans, including new originations, amendments, restructures, and assignments. Ensure precise configuration of credit agreement terms such as rate mechanics, pricing grids, interest period rules, fee schedules, amortization, funding structures, and lender share allocations. Maintain rigorous quality control routines to ensure clean data, accurate system setup, and downstream servicing integrity.

  • Lifecycle Servicing Execution: Direct internal servicing activities including rate resets and interest period, administration, interest and fee accruals, payment application, pro rata allocations and waterfall calculations, cash movement processing, lender share and exposure tracking. Oversee servicing execution for both purchased and sold participation interests. Maintain high quality servicing records, accurate internal data, and strong reconciliation standards.

  • Operational Alignment to Credit Agreements: Translate credit agreement terms into internal servicing workflows, system rules, and lifecycle processing requirements. Maintain internal servicing calendars supporting timely execution of rate changes, interest cycles, and payment activity. Ensure servicing processes remain aligned with credit agreement mechanics, internal policies, and operational controls.

  • Risk Management, Controls & Process Improvement: Maintain a strong servicing control environment, including reconciliations, exception management, audit readiness, and accuracy testing. Track and monitor servicing KPIs and SLAs for booking accuracy, processing timeliness, and data integrity. Lead root cause analysis and drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen servicing resiliency and reduce operational risk.

  • Technology, Systems & Vendor Oversight: Oversee servicing platforms and workflow tools used in the administration of syndicated, bilateral, and participation loans. Partner with Technology and Operations leaders to implement enhancements, optimize workflows, and support automation. Manage servicing vendors and tools required to support rate, fee, or internal processing functions.

  • Cross Functional Partnership: Partner with Relationship Management, Credit Administration, Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Technology to ensure internal servicing execution remains aligned with enterprise standards. Provide subject matter expertise for initiatives impacting syndicated loan servicing processes or system capabilities.

  • Leadership & Talent Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high performing Syndications Servicing team with deep technical servicing expertise. Foster a culture of accountability, operational rigor, continuous improvement, teamwork, and service excellence. Drive hiring, training, development, and succession planning to build organizational capability.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience in lending operations supporting Asset-Backed Finance, Commercial Banking, C&I, and Structured Finance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with the FIS Commercial Loan Servicing System (also known as ACBS)

Pay Range $171,500 - $250,000
