Robert Half Sr Systems Administrator in Jacksonville, Florida
Description
We are looking for a Senior Systems Administrator who can support and enhance our hybrid environment across cloud services, enterprise applications, and core business systems. You will be responsible for daily operations, stability, user experience, and proactive improvements to ensure high availability and security.
What You’ll Do
Administer Azure/AWS environments, resource groups, VMs, identity, and backups
Manage Windows Server environments, patching, updates, and security controls
Support enterprise applications (O365, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
Maintain monitoring, alerting, performance tuning, and incident response
Troubleshoot issues across servers, networks, applications, and integrations
Coordinate with vendors, security, and engineering teams on escalations
Document system configurations, standards, and operational procedures
Assist with deployments, upgrades, and rollout of new technologies
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
5–8+ years in Systems Administration
Strong knowledge of Azure, O365, AD/Entra ID, and Windows Server
Familiarity with VMware, Linux, storage, and networking fundamentals
Hands-on scripting skills (PowerShell preferred)
Experience supporting enterprise apps and complex technical environments
