Mechanical Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift
Location: Northside Jacksonville, FL (32226)
Pay: $17.00–$19.25 per hour (based on shift)
About the Role
We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join our team in a heavy‑industrial manufacturing environment. In this role, you will participate in the assembly and production of Industrial Power Systems , with a focus on working with sheet metal and building metal enclosures.
Key Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly of industrial power systems using sheet metal components
Assemble metal enclosures and system structures
Operate hand and power tools including drills, tape measures, screwdrivers, wrenches, and impact tools
Read and follow blueprints and assembly drawings
Work effectively as part of a production team
Stand, stoop, bend, and work inside units that average 8 ft. tall
Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, including wearing steel‑toe shoes starting on day one
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Experience using hand and power tools in a production environment
Manufacturing assembly experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Ability to stand for the full shift and lift 50+ pounds
Capability to handle and move sheet metal
Preferred Qualifications
Previous manufacturing assembly experience
Blueprint reading proficiency

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
