Robert Half Infrastructure Engineer in Jacksonville, Florida
Description
Design, build, and support core infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud. You’ll manage Windows Server, identity, networking, storage, and automation—prioritizing reliability, security, and scale.
What You’ll Do
Administer Windows Server (2016–2022), AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO
Support Azure IaaS, landing zones, networking (VNets, NSGs, VPN/ExpressRoute)
Implement monitoring/alerting, performance tuning, and capacity planning
Automate builds and operations with PowerShell/Terraform
Maintain backups/DR, patching, and configuration standards
Partner with Security to harden systems and meet compliance requirements
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
4–8+ years in infra/sys engineering
Strong Windows/AD and Azure fundamentals
Scripting/automation mindset (PowerShell; Terraform/Bicep a plus)
Solid networking basics (routing, firewalls, load balancers)
Bonus: VMware/Hyper‑V, storage platforms, IIS, certificates/PKI
