RQ Construction, LLC Electrical Project Manager in Jacksonville, Florida

RQC is seeking an Electrical Project Manager (EPM) to oversee complex military construction projects in Jacksonville, FL, and the surrounding areas.

This opportunity is well-suited for an Electrical Project Manager who is looking to take full ownership of electrical scopes on sophisticated projects, collaborate closely with in-house electrical teams, and contribute to infrastructure that supports U.S. military operations.

The Electrical Project Manager leads all electrical components of assigned projects, from early design phases through final delivery, in alignment with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values. This position works in coordination with project leadership, internal field teams, design professionals, and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

EPMs are responsible for managing multiple electrical scopes concurrently and are accountable for planning, coordination, budgeting, and execution within large Design-Build programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline required (relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree)

  • At least 4 years of experience as an Electrical Project Manager overseeing projects with electrical scopes of $500K or more (commercial or DoD)

  • Minimum of 3 years working on Department of Defense construction projects

  • 5+ years of experience in roles such as Project Engineer, Assistant Project Manager, or similar within the electrical construction field

  • Previous experience in a Design-Build environment preferred

  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction processes, and field coordination

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

  • Experience with industry tools such as Primavera P6, Bluebeam, Autodesk/BIM, Revit, or McCormick is preferred

Certifications

  • OSHA 30 certification required (training available if needed)

  • CPR and First Aid certifications required

  • STS certification is a plus

  • LEED Green Associate or LEED Accredited Professional credentials are preferred

Additional Requirements

  • Must hold a valid, unexpired U.S. Passport to access military installations and travel to job sites as needed
