CenterWell Bilingual Receptionist in Jacksonville, Florida

The Receptionist manages front desk operations and provides administrative support within a physician practice or center. You will ensure a welcoming experience for all patients and visitors and supports the medical team with routine administrative tasks under close guidance and established guidelines. You will report to the Center Administrator.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet patients and visitors in person and by phone

  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, coordinating with medical staff

  • Maintain and update patient records in EMR and CRM systems

  • Process billing, update patient accounts, and collect copayments

  • Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and provide general information

  • Keep the reception area clean, organized, and well-stocked

  • Assist with office tasks such as ordering supplies, managing inventory, and arranging courier services

  • Make decisions within defined parameters for work expectations, quality standards, and timing

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in English and Spanish

  • One year or more of healthcare experience, we will also consider Candidates with strong customer service backgrounds (such as retail, hospitality, or call centers).

  • Commitment to enhancing patient experience and care

  • Strong customer service and phone skills.

  • Collaborative and positive team player.

  • Efficient multitasking in a fast-paced setting.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience with value-based care models

  • Knowledge of medical terminology

  • Experience with EMR systems

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 to 5:00

Location: Onsite at Jacksonville, FL/Conviva University

Additional Information:

This role is considered patient-facing and is part of the company's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, you will be required to be screened for TB.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$38,000 - $45,800 per year

This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
