As part of the Kito Crosby team, you will be supporting channel partners and end users around the world using Kito Crosby products in mission critical applications ranging from development of renewable power, space exploration, national defense, manufacturing, and infrastructure development.

The Set-up Tech is responsible for setting up and changing over all CNC machines as required to meet production goals and will be required to operate a CNC machine when not performing set-ups or changeovers. Understands blueprints and written specifications. Skillfully uses all machinists hand tools and measuring instruments. Possesses knowledge of shop mathematics. Familiar with the various metals, speeds, and feeds to be used in machining. Capable of shaping metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes. Has a minimum of rejected parts with maximum productivity. Must be able to operate one or more machines as required to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential)

Be able to set-up/changeover all machines as required for machine operators*

Read and understand blueprints and written specifications.*

Possess knowledge and ability to use shop mathematics.*

Skillfully use all machinists hand tools and measuring instruments.*

Be capable of shaping metal bars, forgings, and castings to precise dimensions and finishes.*

Be familiar with the various metals, speed, and feeds to be used in machining.*

Be familiar with how to set-up, change over, and operate all machines to meet production and quality standards with maximum productivity.*

Be able to lift 5 to 50 pounds on a regular basis.*
