Key Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel-powered vehicles and machinery. • Diagnosis and Repair: Identify and fix issues in diesel engines, transmissions, steering, braking systems, and other related systems. • Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks like oil changes, filter replacements, and tire rotations to ensure the longevity of vehicles. • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed, including parts used. • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety regulations and ensure vehicles meet all relevant standards. • Troubleshooting: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to pinpoint the source of mechanical or electrical problems. • Inventory Management: Inform Service Manager of stock and specific parts needed for repairs. • Staying Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements in diesel technology. Required Skills: • Technical Proficiency: Knowledge of diesel engine components, systems, and their operation. • Mechanical Aptitude: Ability to work with tools, diagnose problems, and perform repairs. • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze issues and find effective solutions. • Organizational Skills: Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace. • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy parts and tools. • Ability to work a flexible schedule including some Saturdays, evenings and holidays as needed • Valid driver's license
