What We Require for this Role:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in construction or civil projects
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification.
Ability to pass criminal background, drug screening, and a physical examination.
Ability to use essential tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD.Pro effectively.
Design and Drafting Tools: Microstation
Structural & Analysis Software: ETABS/ SAP2000, SAFE
Surveying and GIS Tools: ArcGIS/QGIS, Total Station controller software
Revit
Navisworks
MATLAB or Python
Ability to use project management and productivity tools such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site surveying.
Understanding of geotechnical principals, drainage, and structural design.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Interpret and develop project drawings and specifications.
Perform hydraulic modeling for water supply, drainage and stormwater systems.
Analyze flow rates, pressure, and network performance using specialized software.
Prepare and update project schedules and track progress - while reporting status to project managers and clients.
Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out according to design and schedule.
Ensuring compliance and quality throughout all aspects of the project.
