Day to Day
This role drives the day-to-day execution of global events and experiential marketing initiatives that support business impact for a global audience by providing both tactical and strategic support for key elements of Indeed’s Global Marquee event and internal global leadership initiatives. The Lead Global Events Specialist is responsible for bringing these experiences to life end-to-end, from planning through on-site execution and post-event follow-up, ensuring high-quality, engaging live and hybrid events across diverse markets.
On a daily basis, this role partners closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate event logistics, manage vendors, oversee budgets, and ensure seamless delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives. They act as a central point of contact for execution, maintaining excellent attention to detail across timelines, materials, lead capture, and the overall attendee experience. This role is specifically tailored towards live and hybrid event delivery, rather than primarily virtual programming.
The role requires balancing operational execution with strategic insight by analysing event performance, identifying opportunities to enhance future experiences, and sharing recommendations with key business partners. Success in this role depends on strong global coordination, adaptability across time zones, and the ability to anticipate challenges, problem-solve quickly, and deliver impactful events on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Manage the planning and execution of multiple, concurrent global events and experiential marketing initiatives while maintaining a high level of quality and consistency
Support the development and execution of event strategies, including timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, budget tracking, reporting, and post-event follow-up
Serve as a primary point of contact for cross-functional partners, providing expertise and guidance on event execution and best practices
Manage event budgets with fiscal responsibility and attention to cost efficiencies
Track and report on event performance, including analytics, trends, and insights to inform future improvements
Coordinate event materials, lead capture processes, and documentation to ensure a seamless experience for both internal teams and external audiences
Leverage industry trends and audience insights to enhance event impact and identify opportunities for scale and efficiency
Collaborate across global teams, demonstrating cultural awareness and the ability to execute effectively across multiple regions and time zones
Skills/Competencies
Requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or a minimum of 8 years with a Bachelor’s degree; or 6 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience.
Proven experience overseeing and executing high-impact events or experiential activations on a global scale
Excellent organizational and execution skills, including managing logistics, timelines, and budgets across multiple initiatives
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, solve problems proactively, and deliver under tight deadlines
Demonstrated ability to use data and insights (both qualitative and quantitative) to evaluate event success and inform recommendations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across a variety of collaborators and partners, including senior leadership
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality attendee experiences
Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%

Salary Range Transparency
Tier 1 - United States of America 89,000 - 133,000 USD per year
Tier 2 - United States of America 98,000 - 148,000 USD per year
