The Senior Human Resources Manager provides comprehensive HR services in support of an office, subsidiary, remote location, or defined business unit, ensuring effective people practices, compliance, and a positive employee experience. This role delivers and administers core HR programs across recruiting and staffing, compensation and benefits, training and development, employee and labor relations, health promotion, and affirmative action / equal employment opportunity (AA/EEO) compliance.
The Sr. HR Manager role applies independent judgment and analytical rigor to evaluate HR practices against internal standards, external benchmarks, and applicable labor laws. The Senior HR Manager ensures compliance with corporate and legal guidelines and processes and maintains accurate HR data using efficient HR information systems and identifies opportunities to improve systems and processes as business needs evolve.
The role may coordinate and oversee the daily work of a support or operations team, setting priorities to ensure timely task completion while working cross functionally with leaders, COEs, and other supervisors. While providing leadership and oversight, the role remains focused primarily on strategic and operational HR delivery rather than day-to-day execution.
Your Workplace
This role follows AGCO’s onsite work model, with employees primarily working from an AGCO location 5 days per week to support collaboration and teamwork. In this role, you will work onsite in our Jackson MN facility to team up with your wonderful AGCO colleagues.
Your Impact
Implement HR programs and initiatives by delivering end-to-end human resources services, including:
Recruiting and staffing support
Compensation and benefits administration
Training and development programs
Employee and labor relations support
Affirmative Action / Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) compliance
Complete and oversee personnel transactions (e.g., hires, changes, separations) and maintain accurate, compliant employee records.
Collect, analyze, and interpret internal and external data to evaluate HR practices and compare them against prevailing market standards and benchmarks.
Provide guidance to leaders and employees on HR policies, procedures, and programs to ensure consistent application and understanding.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal governance requirements.
Support audits, reporting, and documentation related to HR compliance and employment practices.
Your Experience and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field
7–10 years of progressive Human Resources experience with exposure to multiple HR functional areas (e.g., staffing, compensation and benefits, employee relations, compliance, learning and development)
Working knowledge of applicable labor laws, regulations, and employment compliance requirements
Demonstrated experience executing HR programs, processes, and personnel transactions in a complex organization
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
Proven ability to manage sensitive employee matters with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment
Your Compensation
This position will pay within the range of $120,000.00 -$180,000.00, based on experience. This position is eligible for a bonus based on 20% of compensation.
