Starting Salary: $130,000 - $1600,000 + Bonus

Lacation: Jackson, MI - Hybrid

Our client is looking for a full-time, director hire, Senior Technical Accounting & Financial Analyst to join their team. This is an advanced level role where you will leverage your expertise in financial analysis and technical accounting to drive accurate reporting and support decision-making processes. This position offers the opportunity to work on complex financial challenges and contribute to the success of an organization.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed financial analysis to support the company’s decision-making and strategic planning.

• Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.

• Implement and maintain technical accounting processes in compliance with regulatory standards.

• Prepare and review SEC filings to ensure accuracy and adherence to reporting requirements.

• Collaborate with auditors during financial statement audits to provide necessary documentation and support.

• Analyze and review financial statements for accuracy and completeness.

• Develop financial models to forecast and assess business scenarios.

• Provide insights and recommendations through ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and internal financial policies.

Requirements

• 7+ experience in financial analysis and technical accounting.

• Proficiency in conducting variance analysis and interpreting financial data.

• Solid knowledge of SEC filing requirements and standards.

• Hands-on experience with financial statement audits and reviews.

• Familiarity with creating and utilizing financial models.

• Strong analytical skills coupled with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate financial insights effectively to stakeholders.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; advanced certification preferred.
