The Maintenance Department at Villa Feliciana Medical Complex supports a system similar to a municipality.
We are looking for a Maintenance Repairer 1 to join our Maintenance Department - a proactive, goal-oriented, and focused team dedicated to keeping Villa Feliciana Medical Complex running smoothly by performing repairs and maintaining the physical structure of buildings, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems, and other mechanical and related fields such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical etc!

Minimum Qualifications
One year of experience or training in the building construction trades, building maintenance, maintenance or repair of mechanical equipment, or park operations and grounds maintenance; OR
Six semester hours in construction management, construction technology, or engineering, or any combination of these courses.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Performs repairs and maintains physical structure to buildings, exteriors, furniture, fixtures, air conditioning/heating systems and other mechanical and related fields such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical etc.
Makes repairs to appliances, replaces parts, and makes adjustments, etc. Sets up and operates machine tools such as drills, table saws, backhoes, skill saws, radial saws, boom trucks, rotor machines, air compressors, acetylene torch and other various hand tools, etc.
Assists other maintenance personnel in mowing, weed eating, hauling, cleaning grounds, road maintenance tasks or any other job duty related to maintenance, etc.
Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.
Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears and other parts of machinery.
Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discuss machine operation variations with supervisor or other maintenance workers to diagnose the problem or repair the machine.
Performs other related duties in order to maintain the smooth operation of the facility, such as being on call in emergency situations.

Work Schedule: 8-hour Days Monday - Friday
