1. Safely operate logging equipment and inspect it timely for safety prior to use.
2. Perform basic maintenance and repairs on logging equipment.
3. Use tractors with clamps and booms to lift and move trees.
4. Drive logging equipment with attachments such as blades, grapples, winches, and cranes.
5. Transport logs from cutting sites to landing areas.
6. Use tractors to build or repair logging roads.
7. Operate tractors and harvesters to cut, limb, and size logs.
8. Must be in good physical condition and able to work in adverse weather conditions.
9. Operator must comply with landowner, employer & OSHA environmental regulations.
10. Must have six months of referenced, paid production experience as a Logging Process
Operator.
