Maine Employer Log Loader Operator in Jackman, Maine

Period of Intended Employment: 06/15/2026-04/15/2027.
1. Log Loader Operator: Operate a loader equipped with cable, hydraulic, or pneumatic-controlled\ grapples.\ 2. Load tree-length wood, four-foot pulpwood, and logs onto trucks and trailers.\ 3. Select wood to be loaded by species and size to attain a balanced and compact load.\ 4. Operate a truck so that the loader can be moved from one site to another.\ 5. Perform minor maintenance on the loader and truck.\ 6. Make minor repairs and adjustments to the loader and truck.\ 7. Be knowledgeable about mechanics and hydraulics.\ 8. Must have six months of referenced, paid production experience as a shovel loader operator (\ hydraulic Crane ).\ 9. Must be at least eighteen years of age.\ 10. Must be in good health and physical condition. Work is outdoors in adverse weather conditions\ and in remote areas.\ 11. Operator must comply with landowner environmental regulations.\ 12. Must have the ability to load two trucks per hour.\ 13. Must have a valid class B driver license and be insurance by the companys insurance carrier.
