Job Description:
About the Position
We are looking for a dedicated and competent Health & Safety Supervisor to join our team based in Istanbul, responsible for Türkiye, Middle East & Africa region. In this role, you will ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations while supporting and coordinating Health & Safety activities across all responsible geographies.
You will play an active role in both operational execution and team coordination, contributing to a safe and healthy working environment across locations.
Main Responsibilities
• Supervising and coordinating Health & Safety activities across Türkiye, Middle East & Africa.
• Implementing and monitoring Health & Safety policies, procedures, and action plans.
• Ensuring compliance with local regulations and alignment with regional standards across Türkiye, Middle East & Africa.
• Conducting risk assessments and ensuring implementation of preventive measures.
• Performing regular site inspections and internal audits.
• Supporting and delivering Health & Safety trainings to employees and managers.
• Acting as a point of contact for authorities and stakeholders across Türkiye, Middle East & Africa.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting Health & Safety KPIs. • Supporting continuous improvement and follow-up actions.
Qualifications
• Degree or certification in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, preferably with exposure to Türkiye, Middle East & Africa practices.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Health & Safety, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Experience in logistics or transportation sector is an advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Class B driver’s license.
• Experience in a multinational company is preferred. Personal Qualities You are hands-on, structured, and proactive. You can manage operations across Türkiye, Middle East & Africa while maintaining a strong safety mindset. You are comfortable working in a dynamic environment and capable of turning risks into actionable solutions
