ISSAQUAH SCHOOL DISTRICT JOB DESCRIPTION
TITLE: Heavy Duty Mechanic DEPARTMENT: Finance and Operations
(Journeyman / Apprentice) DOE Transportation
REPORTS TO: Shop Foreman and Director of Transportation
SALARY: 2 years' experience or education-80% of Journey wages; 3 years' experience-90% of Journey wages
POSITION SUMMARY: Under direction of the Shop Foreman and Shop Leads, the mechanic will perform required maintenance on all district vehicles and other related tasks and assist with vehicle maintenance and mechanic operations to ensure District vehicles are maintained in sound operating condition.
