Job Duties: [Develop and operationalize data pipelines and integrations that will deliver data securely for use by Costco business groups. Implement streaming data pipelines using event or message-based architectures. Work in tandem with Data Architects to align data architecture requirements. Define and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture. Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements such as automating manual processes and optimizing data delivery or orchestration. Analyze data to spot anomalies and trends and correlate data to ensure data quality. Develop and operationalize data pipelines to bring data into the various test environments used for the development of certified data sets. Design data pipelines and recommend ongoing optimization of data storage, data ingestion, data quality, and orchestration. Design, develop, and implement ETL/ELT/CDC processes. Improve and speed delivery of our data products and services. Implement big data and NoSQL solutions by developing scalable data processing platforms to drive high-value insights to the organization. Employees may work from their preferred Costco corporate office location in Issaquah, WA; Dallas, TX; or Schaumburg, IL. Minimum requirements: [Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
