Job Title: Experienced Carpenter We are seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate has proven hands-on experience in residential and/or commercial construction and takes pride in delivering high-quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made from wood, plywood, and other building materials Read and interpret building plans, blueprints, sketches, and specifications Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood, plastic, fiberglass, and drywall with precision Install framework, flooring, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and other structural components Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards Inspect structures and repair or replace damaged framework and fixtures Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition Collaborate with project managers and team members to complete projects on schedule Requirements Proven experience as a carpenter (minimum experience can be specified) Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and construction methods High attention to detail and strong craftsmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials Valid drivers license (if required) What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Opportunities for growth and advancement Supportive and professional work environment Steady, year-round work (if applicable) Location Islandia NY Salary - $25-30HR
