From the Heart Companion Scheduling Coordinator in Irwin, Pennsylvania
Essential Functions:
1. Communicates effectively with all office staff. Provides appropriate distribution of knowledge in regard to caregivers and clients including e-mails, calls, and walk-ins.
2. Responsible to answer phone and direct calls to appropriate person.
- Accountable for filling schedules to provide adequate coverage for clients as is required by
their state mandated service plan. This includes but is not limited to caregivers' call offs, holiday requests, vacations or FMLA needs.
4. Assists with initial referrals and filling new cases on an as needed basis.
- Monitor HHA schedules to ensure that all shifts are being completed in the correct timeframe (i.e. week and month).
6. Daily maintenance of HHA Dashboard to insure proper clock-in and clock-out process is
completed by caregivers.
7. Participate in weekly Manager's meeting.
- Additional duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
1. Completion of High School or an accredited GED program of study.
2. Previous experience of 1-2 years in healthcare environment.
Ability to use personal computer, copier, fax. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
Must be detail oriented and astute with, alphabetizing and maintenance of documentation.
Must possess the ability to interact with all levels of employees, clients and managers in a mature, professional manner.
