Volt is immediately hiring for CNC Machinist in Irwin, PA.
As a CNC Machinist, you will: Set up and operate Mazak CNC machines (lathes and mills) using Mazatrol controls. Perform all in-process inspections, including first article inspections, to ensure parts meet specifications. Read and interpret technical blueprints, drawings, and dimensional tolerances. Load/unload parts using overhead cranes, deburr parts, and complete production documentation. Monitor tooling and tool life, minimize machine downtime, and communicate maintenance needs. This is a Full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience operating Mazak CNC machines with Mazatrol controls in a production environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and verify material specs. Experience with both Mazak and Dasun machines are huge plus Strong understanding of machining practices, tooling selection, and part inspection procedures. Prior experience with CNC programming, manufacturing processes, and cross-training flexibility is a plus. High School diploma or GED equivalent *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
