ManpowerGroup Sr. Software Engineer in Irving, Texas

Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in advanced systems and software solutions, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of the Systems Development Department supporting critical projects in NSA architecture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer

Location: Irving, TX (On-site)

Duration : 9+ months with highly possible extension / conversion

What's the Job?

  • Design and develop complex systems within NSA architecture, ensuring reliability and scalability.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Lead medium to large projects, managing both offshore and onshore resources effectively.

  • Implement Agile practices across all development activities to enhance project delivery.

  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure code quality and timely resolution of defects.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant experience in software development and systems engineering.

  • Proficiency in Java 8 reactive programming, microservices, and RESTful API development.

  • Experience with Spring Boot, Cassandra DB, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.

  • Strong understanding of DevOps tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, and Ansible, along with TDD practices.
