ManpowerGroup Sr. Software Engineer in Irving, Texas
Our client, a leading technology organization specializing in advanced systems and software solutions, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Sr. Software Engineer, you will be part of the Systems Development Department supporting critical projects in NSA architecture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Software Engineer
Location: Irving, TX (On-site)
Duration : 9+ months with highly possible extension / conversion
What's the Job?
Design and develop complex systems within NSA architecture, ensuring reliability and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement business requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Lead medium to large projects, managing both offshore and onshore resources effectively.
Implement Agile practices across all development activities to enhance project delivery.
Work closely with QA teams to ensure code quality and timely resolution of defects.
What's Needed?
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Six or more years of relevant experience in software development and systems engineering.
Proficiency in Java 8 reactive programming, microservices, and RESTful API development.
Experience with Spring Boot, Cassandra DB, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services.
Strong understanding of DevOps tools such as GIT, Jenkins, JIRA, and Ansible, along with TDD practices.
