Greentech Renewables distributes a full range of solar equipment to thousands of contractors throughout the United States, Caribbean, and Latin America, enabling solar installers to easily and cost-effectively design, sell, and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
Greentech Renewables’ Design Services Team is looking for a Service Lead, Energy Storage Systems - Northeast to help us manage our rapidly growing design services pipeline.
Reports to: Regional Lead
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years Solar design, engineering, or construction experience is required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Solar Engineering or Project Management plus actual construction experience. Alternatively a journeyman electrician - project manager
Experience in the installation, maintenance, design and permitting of ESS systems w/focus on California specific requirements
Excellent CAD, Solar & ESS Code (NEC), and Solar/ESS Product knowledge
ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES:

Preferred Qualifications:
EIT or PE License a plus
NABCEP Certification a plus
Solar Construction experience preferred over MBA or Master's in engineering
Working Conditions:
Hybrid, remote & in office. With a focus on customer outreach, on average 2-3 days a week in Profit Center(s) or as directed by management
Travel will be required for working in Profit Center(s)
Travel will be required to visit trade shows or for company events
Work standard business hours of 8am to 5pm within your time zone or within the time zone of the Division assigned

Essential Job Functions:
Project Management
Ensuring projects move forward to stay within designated SLAs
Preserving customer requirements in CRM and adapting our process to deliver compliant and customized plansets every time
Coordinating with our production to ensure vendors are following jurisdictional and customer specific requests
Working with internal teams to refine templates and processes to improve pass rates, turnaround times, and customer experience
Being the Customer’s day-to-day point of contact; communication is primarily through phone calls
Training & assisting newer customers
Providing status updates, technical support, change requests, etc
Relationship Management
Maintaining business & customers
Regularly following up with all existing customers
Reviewing reports to get ahead of recurring issues
General feedback, build rapport, go through specific jobs, forecast, show the support
Following up with customer fall off
Working with PC divisions to win back customers
Every fall-off customer should be classified
Connecting with PC salespersons whenever an issues or possibly challenge arises
Growing the business
Working with PC Manager & Sales to target key customers and ensuring a smooth onboarding process
Always maintain a target prospect list and actively pursue
Communication with the other team members such as PC Managers, Outside and Inside Sales Representatives to ensure they are utilizing your role to their full potential
Regular check-Ins
Feedback, both internal and external
Review reports / numbers for tracking and accountability
You will be talking to each PC location at least once per month.
You will be visiting each PC location ideally at least once per quarter
Forecasting and Goals
Maintain per-PC quarterly goals for residential projects and commercial quotes.

Compensation Range:
The compensation range for this position is $80000 to $90000 annually.
