Job Title: QA Specialist/Documentation - Irving, TX
Job Description
Under general supervision, this role involves adhering to established company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of quality assurance. The QA Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of working documents, reviewing manufacturing records, and conducting laboratory tests.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update documentation as necessary to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Review manufacturing records to ensure consistency and quality.
Conduct and analyze laboratory tests, ensuring all findings are documented accurately.
Print and release documentation of laboratory test results.
Escalate issues to the supervisor for resolution when necessary.
Essential Skills
1 – 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing lab setting.
Ability to follow Quality Assurance procedures.
Experience with document management/records management software solutions.
Detail-oriented and thorough.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma required.
Prior experience in medical or pharmaceutical manufacturing is a plus.
Must pass a color vision test.
Familiarity with FDA regulations and quality control practices.
Work Environment
The position operates during normal business hours from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends required. The work environment is professional, and adherence to quality and safety standards is paramount.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, TX.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
