About this role:
The Chief Operating Office Technology (COO Tech) group provides technology services for the Chief Operating Office. This includes operations, control executives, strategic execution, business continuity and resiliency, data solutions and services, regulatory relations, customer experience, enterprise shared services, supply chain management, and the corporate properties group. COO Tech provides technology solutions and manages application portfolios for these groups to support modernization and optimization.
The Platform & Applications team is seeking a Senior Leader to lead the Platform Operations organization across COO Tech. This role will oversee Level 1 Command Center, Deployments, Batch Operations, Incident/Triage Management, and Problem Management and Service Improvement. This role will also oversee the optimization of services and migration of production management tasks as well as drive transformation to advance COO Tech's operating model.
In this role, you will:
Direct management and oversight of Level 1 operational services.
Execute a transformation plan to enhance Level 1 services and manage the revised service
Implementation of Observability telemetry to monitor critical business services
Develop and implement strategies to reduce manual work by leveraging automation and Gen AI
Identify and implement Shift-Left strategies to migrate work from Level 2 (as goal is for this function to handle 80% of production issues)
Implement a model to oversee Batch processing end to end - this will involve the identification of batch critical flows to ensure all business SLAs are achieved
Required Qualifications:
8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
8+ years of experience and expertise in platforms and application support within a financial services organization
8+ years of experience and expertise in incident prevention methodologies, risk management frameworks, and operational excellence principles
8+ years of experience and expertise in cloud infrastructure, containerization platforms, application monitoring tools, and security technologies
4+ years of Management experience
4+ years of Site Reliability Engineering experience
Desired Qualifications:
Strong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a synergetic attitude
Ability to develop and deliver effective, well-articulated, written, and oral communications (e.g., emails, presentation materials) applying appropriate level of content/ detail dependent upon audience and intent
Experience as a highly effective leader with credibility from demonstrating strong business and technology acumen
Experience motivating and influencing groups or individuals across organizational boundaries to gain trust and confidence to make timely decisions
Excellent communications, interpersonal, and presentations skills across technical and non-technical groups
Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams in a high-pressure environment
Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a focus on proactive solutions
Experience with Site Reliability Engineering
Knowledge and understanding of Enterprise Change Management procedures and tools

Iselin, NJ Pay Range: $215,000 - $285,000 - $355,000
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
