The Central Monitoring Station IT Manager is responsible for the continuous, uninterrupted operations of the Siemens Customer Service Center (CSC) in Irving, Texas. The CSC consists of a Customer Support Center and a Central Monitoring Station (CMS). The IT Partner Manager will maintain the sophisticated IT architecture that powers this center and processes fire, security and building automation alarms. This will include daily and periodic maintenance, application and equipment upgrades, and rapid response to any casualties that befall the systems. These casualties may occur during the daytime, nighttime or weekend hours. The IT Partner Manager may at times be customer-facing to address IT-related requirements with prospective or existing customers. If you are a seasoned IT professional with significant hands-on experience managing the technological elements of a central monitoring station, this may be your next assignment.
This position is based in Irving, TX.
As the Central Monitoring Station IT Manager, you will:
Maintain continuous (24/7/365) operations of all IT and telephony equipment to allow the center to conduct its various missions, to include building automation monitoring, fire/burglar panel monitoring, video monitoring, access control monitoring, emergency phone monitoring, and various additional customer service tasks
Coordinate with specialty vendors and contract IT engineering consultants to optimize the equipment and application portfolio for effective operations, to include system & application upgrades, warranty service agreements, and new service offerings.
Become proficient in the purchase order and invoicing processes. Purchase order origination and invoice reconciliation are both component tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience and advanced knowledge of IT systems administration and IT server architecture or similar experience
High School diploma or state-recognized GED, coupled with significant vocational IT training
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Fluent in English
A true self-starter who shows initiative and takes accountability for his/her actions
Flexible enough to work night or weekend hours if there are systems casualties
Meticulous attention to detail in all administrative work
Comfortable in a matrixed environment, interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Less than 5% travel required with the position
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
This is primarily an in-office position although remote work is authorized, when necessary, therefore, residing in proximity to Irving, Texas is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
Significant experience as an IT professional in a Central Monitoring Station (CMS) environment, with expert knowledge of signals receivers, concentrators, switches, servers, domain controllers, telephony systems, etc.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or information technology, or significant vocational IT training and five plus years of experience maintaining the IT element of a business or data center
Minimum of 5 years of experience and advanced knowledge of IT systems administration or IT service architecture or similar experience
Experience with core CMS applications such Security Business Network (SBN)
Experience with video monitoring applications such as IMMIX
Experience with access control systems such as SiPass, CCure, Webrix and DSX
Experience and competence with SQL
