Overview

Immediate Supervisor: Account Director (AD)

Responsibilities include supervising a marketing team, managing client communication, managing production schedules, managing reports, field liaison/communications, resolving conflicts, reporting, and presentations.

Position Nature and Scope of Activities:

The Account Director leads the Account Management team ensuring timely, professional and profitable execution of their client’s programs. The AD defines their direct reports goals, providing direction, support and performance evaluation.

Working Relationships:

Position will interact with every department in the company and will interface with client senior management. Strong communication and administration skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Participate in client’s marketing planning process.

· Serve as liaison between client, field sales, creative, production, and data teams

· Propose and promote strategic improvements to client’s program & campaigns.

· Presentations, meetings and client communications

· Field training and materials

· Lead in project planning and scheduling for campaigns and On Demand communications

· Internal and external quotes and approvals

· Develop pricing and profit calculations and approvals

· Develop and oversee launch and production schedules

· Oversee all project workflow with production teams

· Coordinate outside vendor production

· Plan for future marketing requirements beyond current marketing programs.

· Increase efficiency of programs as needed.

· Resolve program issues in a timely manner and help prevent future issues.

· Manage all data processing and program information, including reports and analytics.

· Manage and supervise staff and staffing needs and participate in hiring process.

· Analyze results of all marketing programs.

· Engage with client field teams

· Travel to engage with clients - may include monthly visits.

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5 Years + leading an account team or automotive campaigns

  • Direct client interaction, providing program status and performance.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Able to work independently; self-starter, with strong initiative

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, while coordinating multiple projects simultaneously

  • A strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint expertise is a must

  • Able to work 8:30AM - 5:00PM Pacific Time

  • Must be familiar with the use of presentations, meeting minutes, and status reports

  • SalesForce.com application experience a plus

  • Automotive marketing experience a plus

  • Working locally in a team environment in Irvine, CA

Compensation Range: $97,375 - $149,296 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
