Insight Global Project Manager - Med Device NPD in Irvine, California

Job Description

Our client, a global medical technology organization specializing in advanced monitoring solutions, is seeking a Project Manager to support product commercialization and operational readiness activities within a regulated NPD environment. This role will focus on execution support for ongoing product transition initiatives, partnering closely with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and external vendors to ensure projects progress efficiently toward commercialization. The individual will manage project schedules, coordinate cross-functional deliverables, track risks and milestones, and support activities related to manufacturing readiness, packaging and labeling updates, and product lifecycle execution. This position plays a key role in maintaining alignment across teams and ensuring programs move forward within established development and quality frameworks.

Skills and Requirements

• 3-4+ years of project or program coordination experience within medical device or regulated product development

• Experience supporting product development, design transfer, or commercialization activities

• Exposure to engineering or manufacturing-driven project environments

• Strong organizational and stakeholder coordination skills

• Experience working within matrixed organizations

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field • Experience supporting manufacturing readiness or vendor coordination efforts

• Familiarity with medical device lifecycle processes or quality systems

• Background working at large medical device manufacturers

• Exposure to biocompatibility, packaging, labeling, or product transition activities

• Experience using structured project management tools (Jira, MS Project, DevOps, etc.)
