Principal Embedded Software Engineer | Medical Devices | RTOS | C/C++ | ARM | IEC 62304
We are hiring a Principal Embedded Software Engineer to develop and enhance embedded systems for next-generation medical devices . This role focuses on firmware development, ARM platform migration, RTOS applications, and hardware/software integration within a regulated (FDA/ISO) environment .
Location: Lake Forest, CA (Onsite – 5 days/week)
Contract (6–9 months) Full-Time Conversion

Must Have:
Embedded software development in medical devices / regulated environment
C/C++ , ARM , RTOS (ThreadX, CMX, etc.)
Board bring-up, bootloaders, device drivers
Protocols: CAN, SPI, I2C, UART, Ethernet
Hardware debugging (oscilloscope, logic analyzer emulators
Strong communication and ability to work in cross-functional teams
Nice to Have:
CI/CD, Git, Azure DevOps, Python, CANoe, Lauterbach, motor control/signal processing
