ManpowerGroup Mechanical Test Technician in Irvine, California
Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and testing industry, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mechanical Test Technician to join their team. As a Mechanical Test Technician, you will be an integral part of the Testing Department supporting quality assurance and product development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Test Technician
Location: Irvine, CA
Pay Range: $26
Shift: 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM (OT may vary on weekends depending on need)
What's the Job?
Perform bench work requiring use of simple limit, direct reading gauges, and meters
Build and fabricate setup operations on less complicated test systems
Connect products to test equipment, monitor gauges and meters, verify and record results
Ensure compliance with all safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and safe operation of equipment
Participate in Lean Initiatives and Continuous Improvement activities
What's Needed?
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of three (3) years of work experience in Fuel, Hydraulic, and/or Pneumatic Testing
Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
Reside within 50 miles of Irvine, CA (active duty military candidates exempt)
Ability to read blueprints and schematics, and use direct reading and fixed gauges
