What You’ll Do
Take full ownership of Revit modeling and documentation for HVAC & plumbing systems
Update and generate AutoCAD drawings for as‑builts, legacy files, and details
Run mechanical load calculations using Trane or similar modeling tools
Contribute directly to projects ranging from $25K–$1M in design scope
Support senior engineers by absorbing production‑level work and executing deliverables with autonomy
Participate in brief site visits (1–2 days) for field verification and system assessments
Coordinate with architecture, electrical, and controls engineers across multidisciplinary scopes

Must‑Have Skills
Revit expertise — you’ve owned mechanical models, not just contributed
AutoCAD proficiency
Strong background in both HVAC and plumbing design
Plumbing must be at least 50% of your design capability
Experience running load calcs/modeling (Trane, HAP, Carrier, etc.)
Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
U.S. citizenship (required due to federal project work)
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
Experience with industrial or medical facilities
Exposure to controls systems and coordination with electrical
EIT or interest in pursuing licensure
Federal/VA/DoD project familiarity
What Success Looks Like
Within your first 90 days, you’ll be:
Delivering high‑quality Revit and plumbing/HVAC packages
Running your own scoped tasks and small projects
Acting as a trusted technical resource for senior mechanical leadership
Fully integrated into the team’s federal project pipeline
Compensation Range
$100,000 – $120,000 (DOE), with flexibility for highly Revit‑proficient candidates.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
