Job Title: Manufacturing Process Technician I
Job Description
The Manufacturing Process Technician I will spend three days a week in the 'Demin' room filling and draining barrels of solutions.
These barrels, weighing between 5 to 40 lbs, will need to be moved on a dolly through narrow walkways to another room.
The technician will also restock products as needed and engage in frequent bending.
On the other two days, responsibilities include packaging and processing solutions, requiring good documentation skills and attention to detail.
Additionally, the technician will prep and package supplies to support the build plan and forecast demands, ensuring compliance with SOPs, GMPs, QSR, GTP, and ISO standards as well as company procedures.
Additional Information:
2nd Shift: 3pm to 11pm, Monday through Friday.
They need candidates that are open to Overtime and Saturdays.
They normally don't start working Overtime until the end of the year but candidates need to be open to it now.
The latest they will work each day if Overtime is needed is until 1:00am.
Responsibilities
Support formulation build of products.
Prepare and verify components.
Follow SOP requirements for cleaning, labeling, and sealing processed units.
Complete ERP move and material transactions in a timely manner.
Transfer and stock supplies for controlled areas like autoclave, clean room, and quality areas.
Assist with final packaging activities, including kitting and prepping lots.
Participate in clean room activities as needed.
Organize and stock gowning supplies from approved vendors in the Gowning Room.
Perform waste water treatment for proper disposal.
Conduct daily general cleaning and other assigned duties.
Essential Skills
Experience in production and packaging, particularly in medical devices.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Experience working in cleanroom environments.
Strong documentation and paperwork skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma.
1 to 3 years of cleanroom experience within the medical device industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
